On tap at Free State. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice wheat note with clove and a bit of backing banana. Flavor has more banana withe the clove the mellows a bit to let the wheat come out in the finish.

10oz pour at the brewpub. Its a banana and clove heavy weizenbock. All the esters make it sweet but the malts actually are not. Easy drinking if you go past the esters. This is the way I like my weizenbocks, its like dark banana bread.

10 oz draft at the brew pub in Lawrence, Kansas. Pour is mostly clear chestnut orange with a smallish white head. Head falls loosely. Aroma is banana clove yeast, with wheat malt and a touch of grassiness in the back. As it warms, banana sweetness is dominant. Taste starts big with the yeast, more clove versus the banana, followed with a nice soft wheat malt. Pretty sweet from the middle through finish - bright fruit sweetnessfinishing with more of the clove yeast. Palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, with a sweet finish. Decent enough take on the style.
