50 cL bottle, courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours pitch black with a small chocolate brown head. Aroma is dark roasted and bourbon like. Sweet malty, fruity and distinct bourbon. Dark malty and distinct bourbon fruity flavoured into the far finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours an opaque pitch black with a small brown head. Hard roasted malt in the nose with a little Bourbon notes. Solid body, hard roasted malts with some vanilla and warming Bourbon notes. Strange gingery. 010410

500ml bottle, batch 463, purchased at Ølbutikken in Copenhagen and shared with Skinnyviking. Big bubbles to a tan coloured head. The body content is black as coal. Smell of bourbon whiskey and roasted, grainy malts. Cocoa, coffee and chocolate in a very nice interplay added by lighter notes of oak vanilla, leading to a sustained ending of dark fruits. Warming whiskey-like alcohol to the finish. Smooth in the mouth (Copenhagen, 27.03.2010).
