Bottle, 33cl patent. An almost clear one, dark brown in color and with a minimal sized beige head. The aroma is rather meaty, with roasted notes and some caramel. Smoked too. It’s very meaty in the flavor, with some smoke and toast. Caramel. Lacking on bitterness. Full-bodied and quite warming on the palate. Meaty finish. Well, not a favorite in any way, but at least it hides the alcohol very well. Really 16 % ABV? Sounds almost unbelieavable. 131231

A reddish brown with a thick brown head. In aroma, a sweet grassy malt with licorice, dates and off notes. In mouth, an intense sweet malt with alcohol warmth, cloying, syrupy, coconut character and dark fruits and loads of alcohol warmth.

Cloudy amber beer, short off white head. Dry crisp palate. Sweet caramel - toffee malts. Minerals. Mild dried fruits. Dry finish. Not too bad. Hides the abv reasonably well.

Bottle. Pours clear very dark brown with airy white head. Clear, sweet aroma of malt, hop, and caramel. Boozy note. Sweetness and booze dominate the flavour. Too boozy for my taste, but definitely drinkable, especially as a nightcap.

Sip slowly. The hign ABV is very apparent in this monster. Sickingly sweet in aroma and taste. Appearance not much to speak of, pours dark black and no head. Aroma is prunes and alocohol. Taste ...molasses and prunes.

Clear brown/black colour, no head. Aroma of alcohol, light malts, besides the alcohol quite light overall. Rather sweet flavour, alcohol, raisins. Finish warming alcohol, sweet and raisins.
