11/VIII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ RBBSG - (2012-894) Thanks to Sebletitje for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: caramel, horse stable, cheesy, stinky feet, rotten fruits, it's pretty off alright. MF: soft carbon, full body, thick syrupy texture, clyoing. Taste: pretty nasty, overripe fruits, something rotten, eggs maybe, caramel, sugar and just lots of alcohol. Aftertaste: sweet sugary, lots of alcohol. Well, as interesting as it was, glad we got this out of the way.

Brown dumpy bottle, holding 0.33 Litres of ’The strongest beer in the World’ according to the label. Found and drank at International Green Week in Berlin (Jan 2009). Murky dull brown with a deep red hue and no head at all. Looked like dirty washing up water to be honest. The smell was a real Fairground sickly affair, Toffee Apples, Raspberries and Strawberies with an alcoholic Candy Floss overtone. The taste and mouthfeel was a thick Raspberry and Strawberry syrup mix, very sweet and alcoholic in an unpleasant way. There were four in my party, my wife and friends only had one sniff and sip, they couldn’t manage any more. I am made of stronger stuff and drank the rest, proptly became drunk (we had been drinking fairly heavily beforehand). This review is taken from notes and observations before the alcohol took full effect. I will not be having this beer again!

33 cl bottle @ Ølfestival København 2012
Sweet and really malty aroma with raisins, some starch and hints of licorice – I would take this as a barley wine. Flavour is rather intensive with shitloads of raisins, some licorice burning alcohol. Good after dinner beer, I had this after a sausage at the festival. Reminds me of Utopias, but this is more malty and contains more alcohol.

Bottle at my birthday celebration at CBC, London. Pours brown-red with a fine, off-white head. Well now, this beer smells rancid. Big parmesan cheese aroma, some caramel, mostly pizza. Super sweet, cheesy flavor with dark sugar. Cheese. Booze. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warm, cheesy and sweet finish with more dark sugar and booze. Very odd. Really only gets points for the novelty factor.

Bottle thanks to Leighton, during his birthday celebrations. It pours deep brown, with pretty much no head. Bizarre nose of mostly cheese - blue, smoked and parmesan! The taste is sweet tangy dark fruit, cherry, plum, blackberry, smoke, cheese, syrupy and alcohol burn. Medium to full body, low carbonation and unbalanced. All over the place. Not an enjoyable experience.....

Cracking this 33cl swing top bottle on 11/11/11 because it seems this beer gets you that one higher, it goes to eleven. This eleven pours mahogany with amber hues and thin off white head. The aroma is bold and tries to be abusive too by offering up freshly mashed prunes, figs, cherries and raisins as well as some booze and faint echoes of malts and alderwood. The taste is similar as it seems to be dominated by sweet dark fruity esters that are on the bright side such as raisins, cherries and prunes. Behind the dark fruity esters are modest levels of malts, some muddied spicy hops and faint earthiness. This one is a little more approachable, if that has any meaning at the 16% level, than the 13% weizen and bock beers from them I’ve tried.
