Bottle. Black with absolutely no head. Aroma of autumn berries and sugar. Flavour is full fruit, some alcohol and sweet jam with a roasted blackcurrant finish. Palate is sugary preserves.

One would think that any beer with 16 % is screwed up. But it\s like drinking syrup. Strong syrup. And delicious.

I read that some other raters found the alcohol well hidden in this beer, but for me it was far too alcoholic. Alcohol overwhelmed the taste and was very present in the smell. Didn’t like it.

Brown with a tiny off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, fruit and alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavour with a note of dates. Something odd near the finish - vegetables? bananas?

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as light notes of alcohol. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruits as well as fresh fruits and alcohol, as well as light notes of smoke. Intense. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Muddy amber color, little or no carbonation, no head. The caramel aroma is acceptable, sweet, almost fruity, and just a bit alcoholic. It has an oily mouthfeel, with powerful caramel flavor, very sweet, but only at the edge of being syrupy; the caramel has a nutty side that is pleasant (a mix of hazelnuts and walnuts). The bitterness is not too strong, there is some from the caramel and in the final the alcohol is quite evident; the in the end the nutty touch is even more present.
I have mixed feelings: it has not been brewed in a bad way, the result is not disgusting, it’s surely an interesting experience, but it’s also difficult to drink too much or too often.

Bottle. Sweet peach and malt aroma with slight alcohol. Orange-tan color with slight thin head. Sweet apricot/orange and malt flavor - slight alcohol burn. Acidic finish and moderate carbonation. Nice and seems mellow after the 31%.
