25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Dark ruby red with lots of bubbles for a head. Nose is dark sugar, caramel, malts & toffee mixed with a heavy load of herbs. Taste is sweetish toffee, caramel malts, slight candy sugar, cobwebs & bitter finish of herbal hops. Slightly watery & oily body. Solid bitter but not very exiting.

Cask @ Akkurat. Pours orange wth a small white head. Piney and quite dry (in a floury way). My rather alcohol influnced tasting notes read: roasted malts and autumn leaves.

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a slightly hazy dark amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is fruity leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour with some malty notes and bags of fruit through into the palate and the aftertaste. A great session ale.
