cask@Hare and Billet, Blackheath, SE London - Amber in colour, with a small/medium off white/beige head. Caramel malt with both nutty and dark fruit spicy, and toffee nuances. Have had this many times but first time rating this. Overall a very solid enjoyable bitter (d15)

Cask @ Grayfriars Bobby’s Bar, Edinburgh 280912
Dark amber, thin dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - soft caramel malts, soft fruity malt >br/>Taste - caramel malts, quite spicy hops, tingy in mouth, bit peppery, touch of fruity malt, not sure about, ok but not great
Palate - soft carb, thinnish body, fairly bitter. Finish - quite dry, fairly spicy hops, bitter with some toasted malts, over bitter linger
Overall - I wasn’t that keen on it - it’s ok - bit meh really

Cask @ Brussels British Embassy Jubilee garden party.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 6 May 2011) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange, dried apricots and slightly dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, hints of caramel, dried apricots and dusty hops in the finish. Rather light body, fairly sweet. Decent, but rather middle-of-the-roadish.

Cask at OT in Stockholm, on May 7, 2011Clear brown color, dense tan head, just beautiful. Taste starts off malty almost acidic, though quickly turns very bitter and dry. Smooth aftertaste first, then dry harsh bitter mouthfeel. Smooth fruity scent. Fairly high dry bitterness. For me needs to be more malty and balanced and less dry and bitter..
