Bottled. An unclear light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of coriander and star anise as well as some wheat and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, coriander, and staranise, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Spice nose with a little citrus. Medium body, sweet citrusy fruits and quite distinct licorice - what an unusual combination! A little herbal and vaguely yeasty with a whiff of phenols. Very subdued bitterness. 240610

Bottle, 75cl. 8% ABV. A hazy, golden-orange beer topped by a small white head. Slightly sourish on the nose, with coriander and fruity sweetness. There’s also something I can’t recognize, the wrapping (the beer is wrapped in paper, there’s no label) suggests licorce, but I don’t relate it that way. Might remind me of orange marmalade too. The flavor is pretty much the same, with a little cellar touch. Full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated. A nice beer in a strange way. It probably deserves an even higher rating, but can’t find where to lift the numbers. 100513
