Pale coppery beer with Grünstich; good yellowish head, fed by lively carbonation. Sharpish greenery nose, smelling like unfinished fermentation, all kinds of off-aromas. Caramelly flavour, but all the above remarks for the nose remain. Finish is slightly sweet, giving it something fruity, with a faint overripe bananaester and more vegetable matter, as well as a peppery feel. Spritzy, near fizzy carbonation, sharp, astringent MF. Light to medium bodied with some alcoholburn. If Millevertus brewed this, they ought to be ashamed. If it hails really from France, well...

Bottle, 9%. Very fruity aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small stable white head. Nicely fruity flavour, mild sweetness. Good and distinct alcohol flavour and clean bitterness to balance. Well-balanced.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear pale amber with a creamy beige head with lots of pretty lacework. Spicy, citrusy aroma with some yeast and alcohol. Solid body, fruity and spicy, a little peppery with a burning alcohol. 041009

33cl bottle; Cloudy, bright orange to amber coloured hue with a thick and dense off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and spicy yeasty malty aroma with an ethereally touch of (a bit soapy) lavender and hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a smooth and well-matured carbonation. Slightly sugary (cara-)malty base with a light fruity touch and spicy notes; sweet and slightly bitter hoppy, also quite alcoholic finish. Likeable although it lacks balance 31.VIII.09
