On tap @ Borefts 2013. This one looks deep dark golden and cloudy in the glass. It also has a small white sidesticking top. Smells different with a strong spiciness. Herbal spiciness perhaps? There is cardamom, some strange old rotten birch and honey. A little bit of something sour as well. Strange stuff and I don't really like it all that much. It's really sour and refreshing in the taste however!. Like lemon juice in a way. Did not expect that at all. It has a nice mild oily mouthfeel and a above average carbonation level. I agree with my table colleague here that this is more a Berliner weisse. Really refreshing quite fruity, elegant and really really tasty! Could drink lots and lots of this - just as long as I don't have to smell it 28.09.2013

Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, würzig, Kräuter. Geschmack nach Kräutern, würzig malzig, leicht süß malzig.

Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Alvinne BZN Gruit ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, spicy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart - sour, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130928]

At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Cloudy amber with no head. Aroma of citrus,other fruit, spices and pine. Dry and tart, actually acidic, fruity and spicy flavour

Tap at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13. Hazed golden with no head. Nose is tangy fruits, spice, tarte apricot, Xmas cake mix. Taste comprises citrus zest, zingy fruits, lightly tartened fruit mash, hint of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finale. Ok gruity affair.

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 2. Hazy amber beer, no real head. Light crispy palate. Semi dry. Minerals. A sharpish sour sherbet, the sourness soon dies away and leaves a sweet floralness. Light parma violets. Tangy sourish fruits and a little lemon blends well with the floral flavours. Finishes light and crisp. Sour and sweet floral beer. Good stuff!

28.09.2013, tap @ Borefts:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh fruity, sour berries, honey, heather, citrus, herbs, lemongrass. Taste is acidic sour, rhubarb, unripe gooseberries, sorrel, berry skin, lemon, citrus peel, hay, herbs. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Very nice.
