Flaske fra Holmens importavdeling (maritimt lager), på aktivitetsdag jan-14: kjapt skum og uklar gylden. Deilig aroma av fjøs, koriander og humle. Balansert og meget lettdrikkelig. En utmerket start på dagen.

Muddy golden. White head. Aroma of continental hops, Belgian yeast and hints of coriander. Fruity and well-balanced taste. Good drinkability.

A typical Belgian blond beer, but with a dry mouthfeel and a bitter edge. Nice.

2010 Vintage. Thx! for sharing Kraddel. 33 cl. bottle. Clear, bright orange with very fast gone white head. Sour spices and old sour oranges, infection or adverse effects of age? , sour medicinal, hint rubbing alcohol,… in the nose. Bitter medicinal, sour old oranges, bitter metallic, sour yeast, light sweetness, attic, hay dust,… in the taste. Light and metallic. I would assume that age has not been kind for this beer.

Re-rate , labeled as Phill’s Ale. The previous rating was pretty awefull, I deleted it and this should be concidered the only legit rating I’ve placed about this beer. Pours rather unclear yellow, ok white head. Smell is bit yeasty, OK; Taste is fresh, citrussy hoppy, rather complex, nice balance and mouthfeel. i am very surprised about how good this is. Than again, it’s proven before that this beer DOES NOT age one single bit. But fresh ? Very nice Belgian ale !

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Belgian yeast and slightly bready malt-character with subtle notes of citrus. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly bready (cara-)malty taste with notes of baking yeast and a moderately bitter hoppy bite towards the finish, accompanied by delicately spicy notes. 01.X.11

Bottle @ benzai. Witbier colour with a small white head. Smells like an overload of coriander. Tasts yeasty and fresh, but there’s quite a lot of coriander in there. Okay carbo, medium body.

Bottle @ home, shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste spices, koriander I think. Decent carbo, low to medium body. Not really nice.
