(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy golden with a tall and lively off-white head. Sweetish fruity nose. Quite full-bodied with fruit and yeast and a high malt sweetness. Discreet bitterness. 100908

Bottle 33cl @ La Mort Subite, Alrincham, Cheshire England WA14 4DN.Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Very nice one of the very nice Achilles beers ;o)) (280708)

Draught Orange beer with slight haze under yellowish head, leaving rings of lace. Citrussy, little point of whtie sugar and just a little spiciness, and a whiff of liqueurish, sweetish alcohol. Sweet, very liqueurish flavour, and despite the quite sweet taste, pretty well-attenuated. Apricots flavour, warming up markedly almondy. Bit spritzy, dry, medium body. Nice variation on the Serafijn tripel (mainly different malts), fairly sweet, but inviting.
