0,33l bottle at home. BB 05/2020. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells earthy, light smoke, licorice, some roast, a bit glueish, some coffee and bitter chocolate. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, coffee, rather creamy, bitter chocolate, light cocoa powder, light licorice, light glueish again, lightly alcoholic. finishes rather dry with earthy, coffee and notes of bitter chocolate. rather good one, a bit alcoholic and rather dry but none the less quite enjoyable.

Bottle Appellation Wines, Comely Bankers Draught tasting. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of smoke, char, leather. Taste is sweet dark treacle, regret. Dry finish.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Big treacle thing going on. Coffee chocolate and smoke. Marzipan on the taste with dark chocolate.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of franski, shared with him, Marko and kajser27. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, alcohol and wood with notes of fruits in the finish. Decent IS.

Black colored, thick, small dark tan creamy head. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee liqueur. Taste is medium+ sweet caramel, roasted malt, coffee, some dark fruits, dark chocolate bitterness, coffee liqueur, some alcohol. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy.

Thanks franski! Pitch black body, traces of a tan head. Quite nice aroma, good coffee notes with vague caramel in the background, perfumey, vague raisins lovely! Interesting taste, perfumey, coffee, nice roast, soft, vague citric notes. Not much sweetness. Mild nice coffee finish. Overall a very pleasant experience, long roasty coffee aftertaste. Wow. I’m actually impressed.

Sehr dunkel orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch schokoladig, leicht holzig und alkoholisch. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, holzig, Schokolade, leicht alkoholisch.

Bottle. Black with a tan head. Aroma of dark and singed sugars, mocha, licorice, earth. A little lighter bodied tha expected with lowish carbonation. Mostly follows the aroma, some grass and hints of smoke too. Thoughts that the licorice might turn out to be more soy sauce like are allayed. The finish is nice: as it leans towards dry, gently bitter and roasted flavours come to the fore.
