750ml bottle. Murky orange-tan, with a massive foamy head. Sweet guava aroma...apricot, peach, mango tones with some funky yeast tones as well. This quite an awesome, complex beer. Sour and fruity, with a pretty solid base, not unlike a more "beery" FouFoune. Tart wheaty dryness balances out some of the richness. Belgian-like effervescent mouthfeel. Big and rather brutal at times with its fruity pungency, this is completely original and unqiue

Location: 750 ml bottle at Blind Tiger, 12/18/10

Aroma: The nose is fruity and yeasty, definite guava presence, some spice and herbs
Appearance: Poured a murky orange color with an off-white head
Flavor: Slightly sour, some guava sweetness, Belgian yeast, slightly wine-like, a little wood
Palate: The body is medium-full with moderate carbonation, and a decent mouthfeel
Overall Impression: This turned out to be a pretty interesting beer. It was almost a sour, but not exactly. It was definitely different, and we all agreed that the guava worked really well. This was some quality stuff.

Draft at the Brass Tap: Poured a hazy straw amber color with slight off white head. Aroma is fruit and yet has that barnyard funk to it. Taste was nice fruitiness with some sour punch. Very interesting take on a saison.

750 ml bottle shared by Dansting. Pour is a hazed golden orange. Aroma is citrus orange fruit, followed by some interesting soapy floral hoppiness. Taste is round orange fruit sweetness, followed closely behind by brett and straw earthiness. Palate is medium bodied with a nice dry finish. Thanks for sharing Dan.

75cl Bottle at UDRBM, acquired from GodOfThunder, thanks Jay! Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma is sour/funky, sweet, fruity. Flavour is sweet and sour, light funky, fruity with a sour/tart finish. Light bodied, a bit overcarbonated. A bit too sour for me as well.

Bottle thanks to Bryan! Poured a hazy amber with a gold hue and a thick near white lasting head. Aroma was full of floral and fruit notes, with clear guava and a bit of sour fruits present. There was also a hint of dough and some spice. Flavor was sweet with fruits (guava and other tropical), some spice and just a slight sour undertone.

Bottled (PBF)
Clear orange color, big cloudy off-white head. Sour, fruity (grapefruit, mango) aroma. Tart, fruity, orange peels, some spices. Weak tart finish. Already too old? Originally tart?
