Small beige head. Hazy amber body with light carbonation. Minty tropical fruit and blackberry aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweet resiny tropical fruit taste with chalky gooseberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, chalky mouthfeel. Dry resiny gooseberry aftertaste with earthy chalky peppery notes. Nice, drinkable, could be cleaner. (0.33l bottle, Couleurs de Biere, Montpellier.)

Bottle at home, 22nd June 2013, miserable cold summer day for an IPA. This is a little limp, like the weather, not enough hops or bitterness for me, a little better as it warmed up, there are much better French iPAs right now

Bottle 330ml.Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, flowers, grass notes. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, hoppy, dry, flowery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121019]

Bottle @ French Oktoberfest Tasting Ulfborg, 2012. Pours cloudy amber with a off white head. Yeast, caramel, fruit and hops. Flowers and perfume. Dry end.

Bottle @ FoneFan, 7.2%. Slightly hazy amber with tiny off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop and a little grapefruit. Flavour is malt, caramel, little sweet, hop, little harsh, little grapefruit and medium bitter.

draft sample @ Chez Moeder Lambic French Beer Festival /// hazy brownish, uneven creamy head // smells of early grapefruit, sweetish side & creamy // taste sweetish ripe & overripe peaches, apricot, eartly, fruity cheese, caramel malt, milk chocolate // creamy, lightly milky // less awesome than this sounds, still ok //// Tried another 33 cl. bottle of this @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. nose is quite hoppy but some caramel sweetness is showing up, taste is intersting combo of bitter pine & grapefruit with caramel, spice and honey sweetness, not bad // upped score from 3.6 to 3.7

draft @ Moeder Lambic French Beer Festival ’12. Orangée trouble, col beige, léger doré/huileux sur le verre. Arôme houblonné, fruité et épicé sur des notes fleuries. Palais malté et houblonné avec un côté houblons nobles mélangés avec une pointe de houblons US.Le tout garde un profile grains, malté cara et un léger fini sucré collant aux lèvres.

bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Cloudy orange-brownish golden colour, large off-white head. Rather shy malty base with a good amount of bitter and citrusy hops. Rather thin malt flavours, but lovely hops though.
