Bock pilsner is brewed according to an original recipe with Saaz hop, a particularly aromatic type of hops. You can smell the result and taste it, a golden lager with a subtle hops aroma and a fruity, fresh taste.

Bottle. Alc. 5.2% Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (221007)

Bottled. Pale golden, small head. Grasy maize aroma. Dry, yet fruity with mellow mouthfeel. Grassy finish with some bitterness. Drinkable, but unspectacular standard lager.

(Bottle 25 cl) Standard golden pilsener with an ok head. A touch of malt and a discreet yet present hoppiness. A bit flat. Nothing really to complain about, but no thrills here either. Very average. 211096

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw. The flavor is sweet malty.

Very pale yellow, good white head, but not very stable. Quite grainy nose, grassy and soap or herbal shampoo-like. Abysmal sweet taste, corn flakes, maize. Saaz would implement Bohemian pilsener – virtually no bitterness or even hoparoma. Light, watery mouthfeel, with just the maize giving something. This makes a great dash at being Belgium’s worst pils – if it weren’t for Jupiler.
