Bock pilsner is brewed according to an original recipe with Saaz hop, a particularly aromatic type of hops. You can smell the result and taste it, a golden lager with a subtle hops aroma and a fruity, fresh taste.

Slightly hoppy, grassy aroma. Big frothy head. Soft, but firm hopbitter pilsener, with just a hint of metal and malty sweetness. Slightly above average pilsener.

F: thin, white, quick gone. C: gold, clear. A: malty, bready, bit caramel, bit buttery. T: malty, sweet grassy, bit herbal, bit oily mouthfeel, very weak bitterness, medium body and carbonation, all this Belgian pilsener tastes for me the same, 5,2% ABV, drinkable but that’s all, 25cl bottle from Prik & Tik Leuven.

Clear very pale yellow beer, big solid creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very grainy, malts, bit sweet, little metallic. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: malty start, bit sweet, some caramel, hint of banana. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, grains, malty, sweet, little metallic, meh.

*Old rating. Best before 28.12.13. Nice fresh and smooth beer. Slightly grainy, round and a bit grainy watery with sweetish hints and not too much bitterness. Sessionable.

Klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch unangenehm hopfig, muffig, getreidig. Geschmack sehr wässrig, schwach hopfig, getreidig, naja!

Palm’s standard lager, snow white head, clear golden colour, malty aroma with floral hops, bitterish malty taste, sweet notes, finishing in a brief grassy hoppiness. Belgian lagers aren’t that interesting to begin with (apart from some exceptions) and this one is a bit bland and even out of balance. Has been (largely) replaced by Estaminet Pils meanwhile.

Pale blond. A fairly atypical lager, perhaps slightly more hoppy and bitter than average.

definetley my favourite lager beer. taste is wattery ( hey it a lager) but the things THAT you taste are realy enjoyable. the thing i do absolutely hate is thet in the foam , you have ’harder’ pieses.. how do i explain this? its just foam, theres nothing wrong with it at all, but when you drink it its like you’ve accidentley swallowed a mini-fly ( wich istn the case) it doenst get used to and thats very sad .. but still, due to its taste, its my favourite lager.to bad you can’t find it anymore ( accept if you know where to look -> wijnegemse drankenhal !)

25 cl. bottle purchased @ ALBO // consumed @ home in a Girardin Geuze glass // very sad, extremely pale yellow, ok synthetic pale lager type of head // smells of grass, iron, sweet chemical herbs & touch of grains // taste is a some light pils malts, moderate blend of vegetables, heavy rounding aluminium flavour, dash sweet grain, canned floral hops, grass,… // doable // possibly worst body I have ever head because the foam has this chunk which are quite gross & don’t really want, they appear to be part of the head & not sediment, so they do sink don’t sink down, some neat pale lager lacing, body is otherwise dry, dash aluminium quality to it as well // this beer has been mentioned a couple of times before as being the absolute worst, I have had worse but this is indeed not very good
