Bottle pours out cola brown topped with a sand head. Nose is nice sweet caramel chocolate malts and some spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts caramel some light spice. Very nice

redish dark brown color with tan creamy head. Caramel, fruits, toffee, malt aromas. Light bitterness and sweetness. Average body. Fizzy. Long sweet finish

Aroma of dried fruits, toffee, malt, plum, mild chocolate, bread, yeast, hint of sulphur. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, above average carbonation. Good but fizzy.

Servida en cáliz. Color marrón oscuro, corona de espuma beige de mediana retención. Delicioso aroma a caramelo, malta tostada, levadura, pasas, pera, dátiles, bizcocho, algo de plátano, especias...me encanta. En boca me fascina, posee la sobriedad y la calidez torrefacta típicas de una buena dubbel, combinado con notas frutales de lo mas jugosas, y refrescantes. Una de mis dubbels favoritas. Viva la Paterseis

Aus der Flasche im 2023-04 getrunken. Dieses dunkle, malzige Bier mit leichte Süße hat ein kräftige, grobporige, beige Schaumkrone. IM Abgang wird eine feine Hopfennote deutlich. Ein schöner, unkomplizierter , dunkler Belgier!

A Liquor Mountain find at 398¥ I was surprised to see I hadn’t tried: St. Bernardus Pater 6 Dubbel 6.5% Deep brown with fine beige foam that leaves some spotty lacing. It’s got a malty brown sugar bun aroma. Light bodied and super smooth with syrupy caramel brown sugar up front then soft herbal hops in the finish. Very smooth.
