Bottle at home from Honest Brew. A clear ruby red chestnut brown coloured pour with a lively beige cap. Aroma is nutty, earthy malts, beligian yeast, light apple, dried fruit, airy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, light cake, cinnamon, dried apple, warming alcohol, Belgian yeast. Palate is semi sweet, frothy airy carbonation. Nice complexity.

Malty, herbal aroma. Hay. Rather sweet taste with citrus, liquorice, coffee and chocolate. Full bodied. Very nice abbey ale, warming and full of taste, in spite of its moderate alcohol content.

20-08-19 // bottle at home from a shop in Liege. Unclear dark brown. Malt nose and as well ver malt forward and rich in taste. Toasted caramel malty. Caramlized sweet. Full bodied. Good mouthfeel. Mild sweet red dried fruits bit the caramilized malts overweigh. Good.

33cl bottle in Rimini, Italy. Pours dark reddish brown, almost plum, with medium cream foam. Aroma is nutty, malty, caramel, brown sugar, figs. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with minimum bitterness. Finish is fairly short, leaving only some nutty feeling.
