Pours a dark amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of roasted malts, some caramel, brown sugar, syrupy. This bock is too sweet for my taste.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Very sweet much to sweet this dark brew, put this back for several years and it will be better tasting.

"Vintage" 2002. Malty aroma, mango. Sweet taste with caramel, mango and a hint of sourness and licorice. Drinkable but a bit boring.

AirBnB rating, bottle from a supermarket in Haarlem. Clear deep amber color, medium off white head. Aroma of coffee and light toffee. Taste is sweet, syrupy burnt caramel. OK.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. Het aroma is gebrande mout. De smaak is gebrand mout en caramel.

Bottle in Amsterdam. Dark caramel with a thin head. Aroma of sweet bock malt. Flavour is malty alcohol, sweet bock, dark fruit, middle of the road style German double bock, not bad.
