Bottle @ ZZT 9 thanks to Joes. Opaque murky orange color, small white head. Smell and taste sweetness, alcohol, fruityness. Quite heavy. Hmm not so nice.

Bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2013. Hazy fox orange with a tanned head, nicely coating the inside of the glass. Nose is perfume, overripe fruits, sugar, herbs, touch cake. Taste is sweet fermenting overripe fruits, herbs, caramel, candy sugar, quite a bit of alcohol, probably more than should be, cake, syrup,… Bit sticky, agreeable to my being.

Sample @ Brugge Bierfest ’13.

Good mango-yellow head, stable, over copper-amber beer. Grassy-herbal-spicy; EU hops. Bit cakey malts in the background, but very faint; Sweet, bit of liquorice, dry wood hints, but the syrupiness of restsugars + alcohol make it demure. Light hint at sweet cherries or cherry liqueur. Warming up, some citrus/orange flavours. Slick to syrupy, oily, if not cloying. Not one to drink cold. Only warmed up a bit, it becomes a "quadrupel" for real.
