Draught at Pub Hapirat, 7.2% according to the barman, stable medium light mocha head, very dark brown colouer with some dark red hues, aroma of metal, cake with hints of vanila and dried fruits, flavour of caramel, raisins, dates, prunes. and very dark bread, very sweet but wuth just enough bitterness to balance, just a touch thick and oily. Very nice sipping beer.

This was famous in some western Canadian liquor stores as the highest alcohol beer regularily available, and for cheap! Dark body, little head, lots of barley notes, but I don’t think anyone was paying much attention.

This Scotch Ale poured a dark colour like a porter and had red highlights. The nice brown head left some nice lace. Aromas were smoky and of butterscotch. The taste was a mix of caramel, molasses and slight bitterness. At 8% ABV, it has an amazing drinkability. Tastes like a caramel porter. Deliciously brewed !

Draught at Cockney Pub. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Brown-amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy slightly sour aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Caramellic and light "oyster" notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. A bit disapointing.
