Bottle. Deep red color with pink hues, lots of floaties and a slightly pinkish head. Aroma of berries and some sugariness. Sweet flavor with berry juice, sugar, and light acidity with faint hints of lemon. Light to medium-bodied. Almost no Lambic character at all, but as a sweet fruit beer it’s fairly pleasant.

0.25L bottle, murky red to purple colour, strong carbonation, aroma is a melange of berry flavours that seem over ripe, taste is of candied fruits with some light sourness that linger on to a dry finish. Not the best of lambics.

Bottle picked up in some random supermarket in Brussels, consumed 17-08-08 Pours pale purpley colour, sweet foresty fruit flavours bit syrupy and cloying at times lacks any real bite, but for a refreshing summery drink it just about works.

25 cl. bottle. Hazy, dark reddish amber color with a light pink head. Smells of mixed berry. Medium body with mild carbonation - goes frothy to smooth quickly. It is mixed berry, is mildly lactic, and does seem to have some cassis. It is what it is. These fruity things are interesting to me, though I rarely revisit a particular one. They make a break in the routine.

Bottled. Cloudy red, small pink head. Aroma of blueberries and saccharine. Very sweet with light body. Tutti frutti flavour with some metal and lots of saccharine. No bitterness. Cloying and unpleasant.

Bottle at the Belgian Embassy. It poured a clearish red body with a white, diminishing head. Berryish, sweetish aroma with cassis and some cellar notes. Berries, mostly cassis in the flavor too, quite sweet. Nice level of co2, but a bit sweetish. Overall, the beer is too sweet for my sweet tooth, but then, I’m more of a chocolate guy. (080410)

Bottle. Very nice sour black currant/blackberry aroma. Cloudy red-brown color with minimal head. Sweet-sour black currant and light musty malt flavor. The nicest of Timmerman’s fruit lambic - while too sweet for a traditional lambic, it is a pleasant enough beer to drink.

(Bottle 25 cl) Courtesy of yespr/Ungstrup. Hazy reddish with a small, pinkish head. Distinct aroma of dark berries. Light in body with very distinct notes of dark berries. The berry notes don’t appear to be artificial, but somehow I believe they are - natural fruit would not have these distinct flavours and aromas. Sweet’n’sour finish. But not bad at all. 260208
