25 cL bottle. Pours hazy redish with a little lacing off-white head. Berry fruity aroma. Flavour is sweet, berry flavoured. Quite distinct sweet berry flavoured. Winegums comes to mind. Ends with a lingering sweet berry flavour. Candy in a bottle :)

Red, a bit hazy color, reddish head. Fruity aroma: forest strawberry, rasberry and blueberry. Medium-bodied. Sticky sugary beer with jam (strawberry, black currant) flavors, almost like drinking grandma’s homemade juice. Mild acidic touch in the finish. Ok fruit beer, just a bit too sweet lacking tartness of really good ones.

250ml Bottle- Purple/red in colour which is quite hazy. A strawberry jam aroma which is attractive. Berries and strawberry jam in the taste with a nice aftertaste which is not too sweet and has a nice subtle bitterness.

Draught @ Kulminator, Antwerpen, Belgium. Hazy red lilac / grey color with a average, creamy / frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, light lilac head. Aroma is moderate forest fruity / berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. (121207)

Bottled. Hazy red colour, small pink head. Aroma is strongly black currant with some wooden and other wild berries in it. Flavour is quite much the same with wooden and grassy notes coming in a bit stronger than in the aroma.

Bottle: Poured a ruby red color with a thin light reddish white head. Aroma is fruit mainly beeries with a slight alcohol bite to the nose hairs. The taste is quite flat with notes of berry, but the malt is light with lots of water undertones in each sip.

Muddy dark pink-red beer with a fluffy cyclamen-pink head. Wafts of "forest fruits" (??what woods have you been in, where you found red- and blackcurrant??) yoghurt strike the - my - nose from afar. Now for some reason, closer inspection doesn’t inspire more confidence. My nasal organ draws up reminiscences of the hairdresser of my youth presenting me fruitcandy 40 years ago. Or, in one word, artificial. Even in the nose, there’s a point of acidity amidst the syrupy onslaught. I fear, the citric acid added... Short-lived acidity, drowned in watery-sweet fruitsyrup. By want of better, I call the flavour "forestfruit" - no berry ever to come out of a live forest has tasted anything like it. Blackcurrent comes closest. Somehow, I get the image of a plastic fifties Mom, spreading unlikely happy children with some magic jam plastic-looking pre-packed and pre-sliced bread. Sticky mouthfeel, light to medium bodied. After the jam, the yoghurt, it was inevitable that someone would come with a woudvruchtenlambic. And it had to be Rizla, sorry, Timmermans. I’d like somebody to point me to all these marvellous forests, where no doubt luscious maidens go hand-picking all these forestfruity riches. Oh, shut up and drink your... beer?
