Healthy cask ale but not too many defining features beyond this. Easy to sup.

From cask in a pub somewhere in London when on holiday. Light amber / copper colored beer wit hno head. Smells weird, musty, stale, cellar. Tastes flat, stale. Low, actually virtually no carbonation. Very low body.

2011/08/06 Cask, 4.3%, amber color with compact thin creamy off-white head. Almost no carbonation, neither nose. Very smooth and light, but amost no noticeable aroma. Starts sweet and finish into an minimal light bitterness. Watery body, goes down perfectly but need something more. 3 3 5 3 8 13 years later, 4.1% version in Gozo, victoria, malta. As above disappointingly flat taste other than a distinct cooked apple flavor. Malt profile quite ok but very faint. Light caramel extremely delicate bitterness in the finish a citrusy leftover while taste is mild tart.

draft@bar: malt with some plenty of caramel, some toffee, fruit and a distinct bitter finish, body is kind of too light, not bad

Cask. Clear amber golden with a dense and creamy off-white head leaving some lacework. The nose is a little nutty with a whiff of caramel. Light body, low carbonation, again nuts and caramel. Lightly bitter finish. 190211
