On tap at the Doerak, delft. Clear blond colour. White blond. Head, nice bitter aftertaste

Pale golden colour, slight haze, big creamy white head. Good lacing. Aroma of floral hops, coriander seeds and lime with sweet malt and yeast tones. Taste of malts, bit sweet and bitter hops. Spicy notes, some yeast, again coriander and citrus fruits. Dry hoppy finish. Elegant and charming beer. (from tap)

24/03/2011 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 15/02/13 (2011-119) Thanks to Bouvier for the bottle!

Clear pale yellow beer, big white aery head, big bubbles. Pretty stable and adhesive. Lots of small bubbles pearling in the glass. Aroma: bitter hops, malts, some faint yeast note and citrus fruits. MF: lots of carbon, foamy explosion in the mouth, medium body. Texture a bit like milk foam, no doubt due to the high amount of carbon present in the beer. Taste: mainly citrus fruits, lemon, lime but also grapefruits, then some maltiness and alcohol coming through. Aftertaste: lots of citrus fruits and a pleasing hop bitter are taking turns, but in the end the citrus fruits are winning, leaving you with a wrinkled mouth, craving for another sip. Gooood finish!

[3/6/11] Draught at ZBF 2011. Hazy yellow-ish pale golden with a pretty, white head. Aroma of floral hops, yeast, fruit esters and light spiciness. Spicy flavor with yeast, fruits, alcohol and bitter spicy hoppiness that’s getting stronger in the finish. Medium-bodied.

Draft at Bekeerde Suster. Light haze on this pale gold beer. Big frothy white head that dies away quite quickly. Crisp palate, a little dry. Sweet malt with a touch of caraway. Some hop bitterness in the finish but really not getting that much hop flavour, ironic considering it’s name!

Bottle from Koruna pralines, Bratislava. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma, strongly malty and yeast. Taste, grain, malt, bitter finish. Average beer.

(Bottle 0,33l) Nice hops, floral, herbs, spicy, light fruity aroma. Light hazy, sparkling color. Huge, all time white head. Light sweet, light bitter. Hops, herbs, spicy taste. Creamy texture. Medium-full body. Light bitter astringent finish. Alcohol not detectable.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Oud Arsenaal) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was large, long lasting and white. Aroma had yeast, fruitiness and hops. Palate was medium bodied with lot of carbonation. Flavours were hops, fruitiness, malts, yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The name is a bit misleading: there is a clear hop character but it’s nothing intense. Don’t expect US style IPA hoppiness. German Pils is closer.
