Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, hazy, big stable and lacy creamy head; fruity (oranges and orange-peel) and hoppy-bitter nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour with a certain tartness, medium bodied; lingering tart-fruity and dryish hoppy (almost piney) finish. Good....

Pours pale gold/straw with a large white head.Nose shows floury/bready yeast and wheat with some earthy, floral green hops in the background.Flavours are very similar but are loads sweeter and also show some spicy hops. Finishes with a mild but somewhat off-putting bitterness.Carbonation should be higher.

330ml bottle at Lowlander, London WC2. Deep gold with a decent, tight white head. Aroma of caramel, floral slightly oily hops and orange. Flavour was also sweet, with a touch of green herb, honey and dryish finish. Good.

Plenty of hops on the nose but little else. Extra points for being served in a ridiculously tall glass, with plenty of head. A little ostentatious, but memorable for sure. Flavour is a great mix of hops and malts, with a nice sharp finish. It’s a brilliant and extravagant beer.

Bottle courtesy Hansen. Creamy white excellent fully lasting head. Yellow colour. Bad light malty and hoppy slightly sour aroma. Moderate bitter and light sweet vinius flavor. Almost barlleywine like. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Strange beer.

Bottle. An almost clear beer, golden in color, and topped by a big, lasting off-white head with quite big bubbles. Some lacings occur. The aroma is sweetish and slightly toffee-ish. Hops and fruityness gives it some balance. The flavor is fruity, silghtly citrusy and sugary. Some bitterness and alcohol warmth are also fitted in. Medium to full body. Bitter finish. Not a very interesting one, rather mediocre actually. 100327

Huge white lasting head. Hazy yellow body with carbonation. Floral fruity hoppy apple aroma with toffee and grass notes. Dry-bitter apple toffee and grass taste with floral soft metal notes. Light body. Edgy mouthfeel. Dry metaly floral herbal aftertaste with soft metal and resin notes. Not bad, but mouthfeel and taste didn’t really fit together. They need to work more on this one. 0.33 fliptop bottle courtesy of Doggythedog, thanks for sharing! 8.3% ABV. It poured hazy golden body with medium to bigger head. Nice yeasty banana, marshmallow root and weak juniper in aroma. Flavor is slightly sweetish, floury a bit, with some fine but strange bitterness, 5 kinds are definitely not felt. Medium, bit creamy yeasty body with long and fine sweetish, very slightly bitter finish. Alcohol is felt slightly, but well hidden, what is common in good belgian ales. Good one, but a bit strange as I said.
