(swing top bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and blond, slowly lacing foamy head. Sweet and slightly yeasty, cara-malty and slightly grainy aroma. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a crisp carbonation. Cara-malty, bready and slightly fruity taste; sweet and slightly bitter finish with an obvious presence of alcohol. Despite the name of the beer, there are not much hops in here. 16.III.10

swingtop bottle. clear to slightly hazy orange, large collapsing smooth and fluffy white head. aroma is slightly citrussy or sour, light-sweet malty, strangely enough aroma reminds me of pilsener???. flavor is quite sweet, malty, alc can be tasted, lots of bitterness especially in the end, the sweetness is quite sugary, but also ever so slightly fruity. the total flavor profile is a bit weird.

Bottle at Brugs Beertje, Brugge. Pale golden coloured pour with a huge fluffy white head. Floral, hoppy aroma. This beer tasted hoppy but certainly not overpowering, incredibly smooth and easy drinking, fresh tasting, hint of vanilla, peach. Apparently the water used in making this beer is very soft indeed. I really like it.

Golden yellow color with a big head that disappears in seconds but leaves decent lacing. Sulphur aroma with some pine. Flavor is bitter throughout without much complexity or character. Light bodied, especially for the style. Best skipped, I think, although it’s a few notches above a drainpour.

Deep golden color with a HUGE head. Citrus, pine hop aroma, with green apples, and biscuity golden malt, honey, and a touch of caramel. Bready, grainy malt, with cookies, a bit of caramel, citrus, grassy, hops, spice, honey. Rich and tasty. Sweet. Very refined and classy malt, with a nice bitterness at the finish. Very sweet, but tasty and balanced. Interesting malts. Dig it.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden colour with huge, lasting, white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, pears, grapefruit and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of grapefruit, grass and generous doses of spicy hops in the finish. More than medium body, fairly sweet. Nice, warming and tasty beer with a fresh hop character.
