Bottle conditioned. Almost black and opague. Malty aroma with licorice, chocolate and a pinch of salt. Malty, salty flavor with dark chocolate and licorice. Low on carbon, medium bodied. Quite a tasty brew, Eddie Gadd knows his job.

Beer to go with oysters, not containing them. Very roasty, quite bitter. Good body for the ABV. OK beer, didn't have oysters to go with it.
