L’intensità olfattiva è flebile e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello è di schiuma è compatta, cremosa, a bollicine medie e si lascia ricordare per i merletti sul vetro. Il colore è marrone scuro. Il corpo è strutturato ma duttile. L’amaro è carico. L’intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è godereccio. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono luppolate. Il finale è felpato, amarognolo, lungo e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. L’aroma in bocca risente di caramello, agrumi, alcol presente non invadente e bruciato.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! The beer starts smooth and fresh. Not too sweetish. Nice malty body with hints of nuts. Fresh, malty and round. Easy to drink with a nutty malty and smooth aftertaste. Nice and refreshing with depth. Nearly no bitterness there.

Trübe dunkel orangegoldene Farbe, große hell beige Schaumkrone. Der Geruch ist leicht rauchig, gering hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack nussig, rauchig, Schinken, leicht bittter hopfig, im Abgang bittere Kastanien.

6.7% alle Castaneda on tap at il Serpente a dive bar if I ever saw one. Tip off, toilet with no seat! 5 euros a pour, it is an opaque Amber brown with a thick beige head. The nose is malty, earthy, caramel & fudge. Medium to light bodied with a round carbonation. The taste is freaky: green tobacco leaf followed by a bitter hop bite than gives you some sweet lemony citrus. Not my cup of tea at all... had this again at Bir&Fud where I heard it was made using chestnuts. There it was an amber/copper with a light beige head & a malty sweet liquid bread nose. The taste is bitter, a bit metallic with a dry finish plus some spice & nuts.

At Bir&Fud in Rome on tap. Pours brown almost filtered, with a gassy head. Nose: flat. Mouth: a bit watery, tart, not good. I fear it went bad somehow. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Chestnuts, raisins, walnuts and toffee in the aroma. Toffee, chestnuts, raisins, dried apricot and some slightly smoky notes can be detected in the taste. Pretty easy to drink and rather interesting.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with orange peel, bread, chestnuts, hay and a touch of rye. Malty, fruity taste with notes of orange peel, rye bread, citrus, chestnuts, hints of strawberries, cherries and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Nice one.

Flaska från SB som blivit stående alldele för länge. Mer än fem månader efter BBD. Skum sprutar ur flaskan, syrlig doft, ska den gå att dricka? Skummar rejält men bildar snart en snygg skumkrona över en disig orangebrun vätska. Syrlig doft av jäst, och bär men också honung, vanilj, trä och kastanjer. Speciell munkänsla, syrlig och lätt vaxig som en färsk kastanj. Bakom syrligheten finns en mak av omogna hasselnötter, kastanj, honung, bivax, fuktigt trä som dröjer sig kvar i eftersmaken och en lätt men växande beska. Det har givetvis hänt saker i ölet som inte är positiva, men ändå funkar det riktigt bra.

Cask. Cloudy golden amber color, thick white head, solid lacing. Aroma of black peper, straw. Tasye is light citrus, straw, pepper. Nice.
