A full English. A full monty. It can be called whatever, but it’s somehow become a measuring stick for what breakfast should be. Anytime I can start a day with sausage, bacon, baked beans, tomatoes, fried bread, and eggs, I’m in. The only thing missing is a beer to compliment it all, and that was the dream for this concept. Rich and robust, with a bit of bitterness from English Breakfast tea, and another excuse to have a beer before noon.

Roast and some bitterness from breakfast tea. Actually kind of interesting - the tea is quite strong here. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter finish, only a little caramel. Bottle.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque black pour. Small bubbly tan head. Subtle roasted malt nose. Roasted malt flavor has obvious notes of black tea. Light sweet caramel notes. Unusual combination of flavors. Smooth and easy drinking. Roasty malt midtaste. Sticky malty finish.

12 ounce bottle from Arrow Wine Kettering. Dark brown, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, hints of cherry. Taste is toffee, chocolate, roast, cherries. Hints of the tea when I really look for them. Medium bodied, chewy, Pretty nice stout.

12oz bottle into keg shaped glass. Big brown head that sticks around for the whole beer. Not much in tea but a fine stout. Dry Stout with some light fume and acidity in the nose. Low roast, low sweet flavor. Just that sort of mineral dry Stout flavor. A little of a fruity Irish Ale yeast. Very nice beer for Flying Dog.
