33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a flat head. Aroma is yeasty, phenolic and flat malty. Flat and tired yeasty, phenolic and oxidised. Dry, bitter and light herbal. Cheesy, greasy hops and flat herbal profile. Dry finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy amber with a tiny, rough white head. Horrible sewer aroma. Medium body, completely flat, tart and phenollic with a bitter finish. Totally flawed. 071112

2012-11-06, draught at La Fine Mousse, Paris, 8-5-7-3-14=37
Hazy amber color, generous rocky head. Wonderful hop aroma, fresh, resiny, with plenty of citrusy fruits, cedar. Lean and dry mouthfeel; quite good dry toffee flavor, and powerful hopping, very resiny, also quite fruity. It has some forgivable flaw: some residual yeast character, and a bit too much (harsh) bitterness in the end; but it’s still a good hit for hopheads.
2012-09-05, bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris; bb Jan 2014, 7-3-6-2-11=29
The bottle is full almost up till the cap. Hazy light amber color, with small head. Nice aroma of hops and caramel, sweet, that reminds me of some de Proef beer for Mikkeller. The mouthfeel is quite flat, and there is a note out of tune, some light sourness; the bitterness is fading, and so any noble hop quality. Therefore there is also some metallic touch in the end.
Probably not well stored, or too old; it seems off.

Sehr trocken hopfiger Beginn, ausgewogen. Spritzig, dunkle Grasigkeit. Bitterer im Mittelteil mit gelungener Malzigkeit. Spritzig, gutes Verhältnis von hopfigen, herben und malzigen Noten, in dem die Trockenheit gut passt. 9/12/13/11//12

Bottle. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a bottle filled as much as this, there were no room at all over the beer. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma is on the hoppy side, piney and grassy with some fruityness, not much room left for the malts. The maltyness is more evident in the aroma, building a backdrop for the bitterness and piney, fruity hop flavors. Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Bitter finish. A quite nice one, although a bit too bitter compared to what else is detectable in the beer. 120623

draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft Brussels.
