This robust porter is a malt bomb that makes other porters blush. We mash seven types of dark, caramel, chocolaty malts with fresh banana to provide a smooth backbone to this fall & winter treat. To keep this ale a traditional porter, we balance it with a fair amount of English hops to round it out and add depth. While bananas on a boat might hurt your chances of catching fish, bad luck banana will definitely help your chances of catching a buzz…
Enjoyed best with family and friends. Keep cold and drink fresh.

12 ounce can from brewery. Barely translucent cola brown color. Large, pillowy tan head. Aroma of cocoa and faint banana. Flavor mirrors aroma. Chocolate, banana, roasted malt. Some residual bitterness in middle. Interesting.

Can. A- Cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, off white head. T- Cocoa, very faint banana. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Pretty one dimensional but not a bad porter by nature. The banana is very very faint. In fact, it might just be in my head that I sorta taste it. I do wish there was more.

12oz can into can shaped glass. No date. Dark brown, almost black color Medium head. Actual bananas and not artificial flavor. So, the banana is light and doesn't come off as esters. Even lighter in the flavor. Light drinking beer. Has a little acidity and light cocoa coming off the malts. A surprisingly nice treat, especially if you are into bananas but hate artificial fruit bombs.
