Draft at Bert's in Millersville. For a 14% IPA it's decent. Not overly boozy. More like hop liqueur. Thinned out and fruity. Weird. Much better cold. I didn't hate it but didn't like it. There's a nice beer hiding in there somewhere.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a huge foamy white head that lingered an left great lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy and piney with a mandarin orange note. The flavor was sweet and malty with caramel, pine, orange, tropical fruit and touches of tobacco and leather underneath. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Well done.

5500th rating! Served on draft at the brewpub. How often do you get a 4% and 14% beer in the same sampler? Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a large frothy head. Good head retention. Aroma of earthy, herbal and citrus hops with caramel malts. The taste is intense toffee malts with citrus, berries, bubblegum and pine. Lingering bitterness, full bodied, low carbonation. Nice.
