Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and straw. The straw, malt, lemon, and hay, leadingto a dry finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white head. Sweet fruity nose with quite some coriander and yeast. Solid body, very sweet fruits, some metal and again lots of coriander. A little sulphur and a dry and lightly bitter finish. 190511

Light-copper, clear beer, well-carbonated to a good, dense off-white head. Very imposing spicy nose, with lavender and other southern spices, making it a bit soapy; and some caramel. They soapy, lavender-like characater returns in the mouth. Although the finish is more classicaly malty, the Bodyshop flavour keeps hanging in the oral cavity. Caramel underneath, lemon peel. Very carbonated, light alcoholwarming, quite slick. Oh well. Itβs original - which for Du Bocq is quasi-revolutionary. But that leaves it still too soapy to my taste...
