Draft. Unknown barrel. Dark brown and murky appearance. This is definitely a BA barleywine. Aroma is strong with aged chewy malts. Strong fruity yeast, cherry with light astringent smell, and sweet but also scorched malts. Not overly sweet but sweet. Flavor is mildly carbonated with more of a light syrup cherry maltiness. Alcohol barrel essence abound. It's just not bad enough that I would be willing to drink it again but I don't really like it.

Bottle shared by Brad, thanks! Pours a near clear deep amber with a tan head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of cognac with earthy sweet grains and toffee throughout. Flavor has lots of sweet grains and toffee with some caramel and cognac supporting.
