750mL capped bottle given to me by family for Xmas. All the brewing and bottling info is empty. I am guessing something recent. Pours clear with a medium sized head that fades quickly into nothing. Aroma is strong with a powerful brett and a bit of sourness. Closer inspection of the aroma some lemon-y and herbal brettiness, which I like a lot. Some wildness and sourness but the acidity is low and meshes well with the brettiness. Flavor has a little woody barrel, the lemon comes in at the end with some zest, the herbal brettiness mixes with a mild-moderate acidity. Tartness and lively spikes sit on the cheeks for a bit of time. A little white wine feel to the beer. Super quaffable and bretty with just enough sourness. Just lovely, thank you fam-in-law.

750 ml capped bottle given to me by family for Father’s Day. Batch 4, Brewed and Barreled June 2015, Packaged January 2016, Bottle Conditioned according to the tag on the bottle. The pour is an orange darker golden with a small white head. The aroma is barrel upfront, followed close by citrus and a bit of grass. There is some of the funk Brett noticeable, particularly as the beer warms. The taste is bright citrus right away, blended nicely with the leather funk Brett and closes with oak wood. The barrel flavor is fresh oak tasting. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the dry lingering funk Brett finish. Thank you for the excellent Father’s Day gift!

Bottle thanks to Rainer. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium off white head. The aroma is strong funk, brett, oak, apple skin. Thin mouth, lemon, grape, funky, oak, nice tart finish, very good.
