The Wine and Cheese Place supplied a local distillery, Still 630, with a Pedro Ximenez Sherry Barrel and they aged their Rally Point Rye in the barrel. After the whiskey was bottled, the barrel went to Side Project and they filled it with beer. Released in celebration of The Wine and Cheese Place's 35th anniversary.

Bottle at LC Party. Pours a hazy orange with small off white head. The aroma is strong sherry, funk, lemon rind. Slick body, sherry, citrus, rye, funk, nice acidity, enjoyed this.

Thanks Walt for sharing! Taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense mix of bourbon, smoke, oak, brett, and sherry. The palate is moderately carbonated and light bodied. Highly tart with light notes of sweet sherry.

375mL bottle, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very funky as hell, with lots of barnyard funk, leather and light acidity. Flavour reveals lots of citric notes, followed by moderate funk, and medium acidity. Oaky and lightly acidic. Very nice.

375mL capped bottle from Wine and Cheese Place. Pours with small head that fades quickly. Looks flat otherwise. Aroma is citrus acetic vinegar. Peach vinegar mostly. Flavor is similarly strong peach vinegar. Truly simple sour.
