500ml bottle from Thornbridge Beer Club (BBE 2014) special archive release - Murky brown body with no head. Nose is rich boozy fruit and malty caramel. Taste is full of the same prunes and dark fruits with a rich spicy fruit loaf vibes. Interesting to have had this fresh but as a matured old ale, it isn't too bad at all.

From bottle @ ACBF 2012. Golden color. Vinous aroma with grapes. Vinous, dusty alcoholic flavor. Cellar notes. A bit of a turnoff after the nice aroma.

Cask at the bow bar. Pours hazy amber, lots of caramel and toffee, bit too sickly sweet.

Collaboration with Dark Star, with firm, snow white head and orange blonde colour; spicy, yeasty aroma with hints of melon, apple, wood and orange peel; complex malty taste, restrained fruitiness, citrus peel, caramel malts, smooth, somewhat vinous, floral hops in the end. Nice.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013, 10/08/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is bready malts, light must, dark fruits, toffee, booze waft. Taste comprises bitter fruits, orange, toffee, light booze notes, fruit loaf, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Ok but had expected more from Thornbridge (Hall!).
