Shaker on draft at a local bar. Hazy muted gold color. Apple esters and orange marmalade of the nose with a typical dulled down Belgian stale malt aroma. Flavor is similar with a tickling ginger bite. Medium body with a flat Belgian feel. Plain and dull Belgian stab with ginger thrown in to distract you. Not a saison.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6
On tap at the brewery pours a clear, dark gold with a ring of white head. Nose has ginger and cardamom, mild candy, some honey, chai. Flavor has just a little sweetness, some pepper, but then ginger and cardamom, curacao orange. Finishes dry and zippy.
