Clear, amber colored, off white small head. Aroma is of some malt and caramel, bit fruity. Taste is medium sweet malt and caramel, some fruity and bready notes, light grassy bitterness. Some cardboard as well. Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation. Nothing interesting but drinkable...

Draft pour into pint glass. Aroma is sweet caramel. Appearance is clear ruby red with small ring of head and little sparkle and no lacing. Taste is moderately sweet caramel and roasted malts. Palate is light to medium bodied with average texture, soft carbonation and sweet finish. Overall, not a nuanced beer by any means but if you like a fairly light beer that is full of caramel, this could do it for you.

A bit amber-ish color with a small off white head. Moderate and mild caramel and a bit bready aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation. Mild caramel malty, bready and herbal flavor.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 8/31/2015. Pours crystal clear reddish copper color with a 1 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of caramel, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready/roast malt and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Moderate dryness after the finish for roasted bitterness. Good complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready/roast malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Fairly clean on lager flavors with minimal yeast ester notes present. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly bready/chalky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is a very solid Irish Red styled lager. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/bready/roast malt and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

This is really not bad if there is absolutely no craft on the menu. There is a nice aroma of caramel, toffee and roasted malt. Taste is pretty much all malts: caramel and toffee standing out. Fairly smooth and inoffensive. Solid for the style.
