Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Opaque almost black color, medium sized beige head that lasts for a while. Smell malts, wet leaves, plants and weird. Taste malts, dark malts, lightly bitter and just not very good.

White glass bottle, looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts surprisingly mild, metallically-matly, not very roasty. Finish drier, but still too mild, almost washy. Nothing special.

Perhaps a little strong for my thought of a dark beer but never does this get to quite rude. Surprizingly, drank directly from a clear bottle. Yep it is dark brown fer sure. Does get a little medicinal during the session, just a little. Hides 6+% quite well. Yes, good palate blaster with an almost medium attitude attribute. Went down fairly well. Don’t you think over 6% is too much for a dunkel?

28/X/12 - 50cl can @ home - BB: 11/I/13 (2012-1203) Thanks to Thomas and Annelies for the can!
Clear dark red brown cola like beer, small aery off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: dried fruits, dates, some mocha, caramel, milk chocolate, bit sweet, hay. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some caramel, bit sourish, dried fruits, chocolate, some mocha. Aftertaste: bitter, chocolate, hoppy dry ending. Not too bad actually (for a Turkish beer)!

Bottle in Istanbul. Pours clear dark reddish brown - almost black - with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is freshly roasted coffee, roasted malt and rye bread. Taste is light bitter. Body is watery with strong carbonation. Finish is light bitter and short with notes of coffee, roasted malt and faint hints of toffee. This beer has an wonderful aroma, which really triggers your anticipation - thus the more disappointing is the taste and finish.

50cl can from supermarket, Side, Turkey. Dark brown, creamy brown head, lacing. Aroma is solvent, malt and alcohol. Flavor has roasted malt, caramel, some metallic notes in the sweet finish. Horrid, boozy aroma, flavor more like typical czech sweet dunkels.

500 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with full head that dissipates quickly but leaves lots of nice lacing. Aromas of malts and cereal with a hint of leather. Flat dusty leather flavor with malty notes and light bitter finish. Notable only that it’s from Turkey.
