Where the strongest Belgian beer and the taste of peaches come together…

The Pêche Mel Bush was born as a popular student cocktail. Now, it is a combination of the Bush Caractère and a peach beer.

The Pêche Mel Bush has been brewed since 2009 by Brasserie Dubuisson. It is produced with the same care and attention as the other Bush beers, with its own original recipe containing natural peach extracts. The Pêche Mel Bush is highly recommended to lovers of fruit beers with character. The natural fruit aromas and extracts provide a beautiful harmony with the bitterness of the Bush Caractère, creating a full-mouthed and completely balanced beer. The Pêche Mel Bush is a filtered, top-fermented beer with an alcohol volume of 8.5%. Without doubt, this is the strongest Belgian fruit beer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a murky burnt orange, with a medium off white head. Aroma is peaches, sweet bready malts, some apricot, but it does smack of fake stone fruit, it smells pretty artificial. Mouth feel is fine, carb is solid. Finish is more of the fake peach, and stone fruit. Semi sweet, ends with more of the bready malts and some light bitterness.

Bottle 33cl. from an AH supermarket @home poured into a tumbler. Clear pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting bedoming fluffy, patchy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, peach, canned peach. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, malty, grain, peach, candy sugar. Medium body, juicy texture, soft carbonation, fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, malty backbone, nice.

Bottle, 8.5%. Citric and cidery aroma with a hint of peach. Clear and sparkling reddish amber colour. Good stable pinkish head. The flavour is quite sweet, slightly spicy and peachy. Sugary finish.
