0,33 l. bottle. Black colour with a creamy light tanned head. Roasted aroma with Mexican-style spices: Chilli, syrup, and chocolate malts. Some soft hop and yeast notes. Taste is light roasted and spicy with a discrete sweetness from cocoa. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonated. Finishes spicy and roasted with a long lasting malt/spices note. Excellent spiced-up porter.

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is hard roast, Chocolate and chili. Flavor is hard roasted coffee, chili , Chocolate and bitter hops. A bit unrefined and Odd. Warming finish. Tasty nevertheless.

On tap at Christian Firtal. Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma of sweet licorice, dark chocolate, caramel and pepper. There is a lot going on here. Sweetish, full bodied dark malt flavour with character of chocolate and licorice with a touch of charcoal. Floral, spicy and herbal undertones. In the end comes a sneaking chili heat and a good hoppy bitterness. Lots of weird stuff thrown into this, but in the end it’s just a really good base beer.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chilis, other spices, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, chilis, roasted malt, alcohol, and other spices, lrading to a dry, roasted, and chocolaty finish.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, spices, herbs, hops and some wood. Fruity and bitter with a very light chilli sting on the tounge. Spices reminds me a bit about christmas. Complex and intense with a full body. Hoppy and spicy with a dry and bitter finish. Interesting and very nice! (2012-04-06)

On tap. Pours an opaque black with a dense and creamy light brown head. Very fresh roasty nose with very subdued imprints of the massive array of spices. Medium body, great and chewy roastiness, slightly sweet with a vanilla whiff. Has a distinct malt bitter finish. Very high drinkability in this one. Basically just a very, very good Porter - all the hip ingredients are very subdued which to me is quite good news. 070412

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is smooth fruity hoppy, toasted dark malty, chocolate, bitter and smooth fruity. Light chli bite int the finish. Rather hoppy and more like a black ipa than a spice/herb/vegetable. Vague smoked touch too.
