Bottle at home, BOE, 20/01/13. Lightly hazed mid golden with a good white cap that retains well. Nose carries pale malt, hops, herbal tones, light spice, floral notes. Taste comprises hops, pale malt, light pine, citrus, orange rind. Light to medium in body, moderate carbonation, clean and crisp in the finish. Overall a crisp, clean refreshing beer. Nice stuff!

Huge, very fine & dense yellow head over metallic yellow-golden beer. Sweet-smelling USA hops, rosewater & lychee. Dried hops, some garden weeds. Bitterish hopflavour, interrupted by sweetish to neutral maltflavour, only to reappear again retronasal. Aromatic, again rosewater. Very present carbonation, near-fizzy. Light body, refreshing despite some sweetness. Interesting Pils variation, but somehow, I cannot link this kind of hops to a regular Pilsener.

33 cl. bottle purchased @ Hopduvel. Reasonably priced pilsner from Mikkeller. BBF 23/08/2014. I quite like the design of the label, I do find it a bit unfortunate that you have to get it really cold in order for the flowers turn. I had to put this in the cooler & I still couldn’t get the flowers to turn black. After all this is a pilsner, so it is possible that they intended for this beer to be drank so cold. Pours clear golden with a deliciously creamy white head. Beautiful. Smell is soft exotic fruits, mango, passion fruit, oranges, peaches as well as a pleasing light floral with a touch of grass. Taste is candy, peaches, exotic fruits, passion fruits blended with a floral and inkling of grass touch, baking floor, caramel malts (light) & oranges. Light, fluffy carb. Quite lovely although like a lot of pilsners from these craft brewers this serves mainly as a showcase for hops, making this in a way basically an IPA in my opinion. Doesn’t matter a lot since this is quite delicious.
