Pours clear , dark blonde / light amber . Good and resistant white head . Smell is sharp bitter . Some hoparoma . Maltyness ( hidden ) . Taste is sharp , yeasty, some bitterness. A clear malty background . Very nice taste , but as soon as you pour in the last half of the bottle, the beer gets visually ruined by big yeastflakes ...

Bottle split in Craigs room, Borefts Day 2 after party tasting, 27/09/14 thanks to the person who brought this number. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is boozey, spice, toffee, dark fruits, a little raw. Taste comprises bitter orange, shades of darker fruit, spice, booze, caramel. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sub par, doesn’t deliver for the ABV.

Bottle. Frothy White fair mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy not pleasent aroma. Moderate bitter ugly flavor. Infected or yeast flaw? I once made a tripel with same flaw. Average finish. Oily palate.

One of those ’new’ beers made by Sainte-Hélène, also tasted under its alias La Djean Triple ambrée, with yellowish white, thick, moussy, stable head and deep peach blonde colour with warm orange hue, clear with minuscule yeast particles floating around. Powerful flowery and perfumey aroma of rosewater, vanilla, mango, passion fruit, candied orange, lavender, pineapple, tomato, ginger, triple sec, melon, honey, gin, dough. Rounded, full palate with lots of exotic fruits and orange peel, caramelly malts, mellow and supple, spicy and yeasty accents, mild floral hop bitterishness in the finish along with sherry-like warming alcohol without becoming wry. Well-suited for those who like strongly perfumed, spicy ales and quite a venture compared with Sainte-Hélènes older beers.

In Leuven at the ZBF. Deep yellow hazy appearance. Nose of yeast and sweetness. Taste of sweet notes (?) with a too strong alcohol feel. Good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle from jaghana! Hazy deep amber, mid-sized beige head. Full-bodied, sweet and malty start, balanced by spicy hops, bitter-sweet and with a fruity touch. Good.
