Teppisten-bier is a complex belgian quadrupel with a syrupy body and notes of dark fruits, hazelnut, sweet chocolate and spices. The name is a joke from italian word "teppista" (hooligan).

Keg at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Hazy mahogany colour, mid sized head. Coffee, red berries and molasses up front. Sweet with full body and dense, well rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, red berries, marzipan and milk chocolate. Warming finish with some resiny bitterness.

Bardzo dobre piwo. Ale uwaga: wylacznie dla milosnikow ulepkow. Fajnie zlozone z samych slodkich nut i fajnie syropowe.

Bottle (from etre gourmet). Pours dark ruby with huge beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malt, dark fruits, plums, slight metallic notes and yeast. Flavor is very sweet and slightly bitter, dark fruits, cane sugar, malt, booze. Finish is sweet with dry bitterness and warming alcohol. Overall: good, but simple and too sweet even for me.

Bottle. Brown with a fat coat of beige head. Aroma of raisins, chestnut meal, dough, brown sugar, figs. Quite creamy texture, fairly high carbonation. taste has sweet fruit and dark sugars, earthy nutty notes and a spicy and slightly metallic note that bothered me a little at first but seemed better integrated after a while. A good and characterful beer that could become a great one.
