The first beer we developed was called Keikoppenbier, referring to the nickname of the inhabitants of Poperinge. We brewed this beer for the first time on November 9, 2011. The very first brew in our own brewery!
In our first beer we wanted you to be able to taste our story so three varieties of hops are used. The combination of these hops gives the beer a distinctive hop aroma and provides a good balance with the used malts.

Bottled@HBF. Slightly hazy yellow, small white head. "Sweaty" hoppyness in the nose. Medium-bodied. Fruity malty backbone, green Poperinge hops. Some alcohol. Refreshing.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como; bb 01.2015
Cloudy blond color with medium sized compact head. The aroma is strongly breadish, a bit skunky. Correct body; it has some residual sweetness; correct bitterness; strong flavor of cabbage, almost unbearable.
Not very good.

Murky brown colour, white head, some UFOs. Aroma of yeast, malts, spices, cloves, dirty yeast. Malty flavour, quite sweet. Sweet finish, very light bitterness. Not my favourite. Where are the hops? Isn’t this beer made by a hop farmer?
(From 33cL bottle @ DutchDrebus’ place. Thanks for sharing, Rene!)

I picked this up at Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium June 2013 consumed at home Thursday 15th August 2013 Large 75cl bottle to myself, hazy golden in colour with white head. Touch sweet perhaps with a little tinned fruit flavour combining with yeastiness. Easy drinking, very easy drinking in fact, perhaps there is a hint of lemon, nice beer. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

25 cl. bottle @ home Procured from Willems. No BBF date. Hazy apple juice appearance with a creamy white head. Milky excess of yeast nose, slightly off yoghurt, malt, sweet, applesauce, sweet dough, light overripe mandarins. Taste is slight bitter spoiled medication, sweet sour dough, light lactic touch, bitter hay, bitter spices and herbs, orange peel, bitter plaster and light chalk finish. Very creamy, milky dough body. Not my idea of a hoppy beer. Not exactly good, not sure if this is in optimal shape either.

Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes, Martinus and Ansjelaah. Hazy yellow to orange color, small white head. Not a lot of aroma other than lightly malts, some yeast. Taste lightly malts, yeast, hmm a bit weird. Average body and carbonation. Hmm not very nice nor interesting.
