bottle - Pours clear dark brown with a malty aroma and some nice lacing. The flavor is sweet caramel malt and a touch of dark fruit. I know, this style isn’t supposed to have any fruitiness, but that’s what I thought I tasted. It’s medium bodied and easy drinking, pretty good overall.

Bottle, Cafe, Lille, France, 28-06-07 Poured reddish brown in colour, not too much of a head, taste fruity with some initial sharpness that was soon tempered by sweet malt underbelly.
