Bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a small off-white head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, caramel and some grass and pine. Taste is medium sweet roasted malt with a lightly bitter finish

Chestnut brown with amber edges..thin white head which dissipates
Aroma of rich dark malts...vinous...smooth aroma...raisins..molasses
Taste Sweet rich dark malts..caramel...fruity..raisins..some toffee..not complex but pleasant
Palate - Medium to full...very smooth...sticky sweet and oily. Finish of rich dark malts and vinous toffee.
The rating on RateBeer is low here but I really liked this and was surprised by this, not expecting much at all. Not complex but a smooth, pleasant sweet malty ale.

Can 500ml @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Clear dark brown / deep dark red color. Thick off-white head. Not much smell other than lightly sweet. Decent taste, not much to tell about this beer.

(Bottle 0,25l) Sweet, strong spicy, chocolate aroma. Light sparkling red-brown color. Medium light brown head. Medium sweet, light chocolate, alcohol taste. Full body. Light fizzy. Very creamy texture. Strong alcohol warm and very light bitter-sweet finish. I was very surprised at the beginning of drinking it, but it turns out to be not so good. Strong alcohol taste and finish spoils the whole experince of drinking it.

Clear reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, dried fruit, dark sugar and a little alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Too sweet for my liking. 190511
